Belville Street high flats, Melrose, Peebles and Selkirk Courts built in the 1960′s were demolished in March 2013 to make way for Belville Community Garden.

About us

Belville Community Garden Trust is a registered Scottish charity set up in 2014 by local people to bring community groups and individuals together in a deprived area of the east end of Greenock. The main activities of our organisation involve building a safer, stronger community around improving lifestyles, and health primarily through gardening, horticulture and healthy eating. We aim to break down social barriers for young and old alike and offer the chance of new learning experiences, improved community relationships, a sense of pride in the environment and improved mental and physical wellbeing.
